Monthly income and expenses
Click any amount to see its transactions. Cash activity with card purchases and regular full mortgage payments; transfers, loan proceeds and refinance payoffs are excluded. Pending classifications are included and marked with *. Statement balances are separate from net activity.
Include other income streams in household view
These selections change this report only. Expenses remain household expenses; bookkeeping assignments stay unchanged.
Account statement balances
Balances belong to source accounts, regardless of which business or person benefited. These are historical statement balances, not live bank balances. Credit card balances are amounts owed.
Every transaction has a home.
Suggestions stay in review until you confirm them. Assign the beneficiary, even when a different company paid.
Amounts reflect cash movement and card charges. Transfers, loan advances and unsplit loan payments are excluded; card refunds reduce expenses. These are organizing summaries, not a full accounting P&L.

Income and expenses by entity.
Click a category total to see and correct its transactions. These are cash activity totals with card purchases and full mortgage payments included. Mortgage principal and escrow are not separated here. Unconfirmed assignments are included and marked.
Solid bars: processed assignments. Striped bars: pending review. Transfers, card payments and loan advances are excluded. Click a bar to see its transactions.
Questions that help untangle things.
Grouped by merchant and beneficiary, with the largest spending groups first. Dad remains the default for Citi and Chase; GoDaddy and clear AI subscriptions follow your exceptions. Open a transaction to answer and optionally remember a rule.
What your ledger has learned.
Recurring merchants learn from your completed reviews. Obvious merchants learn after one review; other clear merchants need two consistent reviews. Shopping merchants and shared PUD charges need explicit rules. Specific card rules can keep a merchant separate across accounts. Deleting a rule stops future use; existing assignments remain.
Changes you can trace.
Each correction records the previous assignment. You can change any transaction again from the ledger.
